Experience one of life’s pleasures… Saunas have been used for thousands of years in Nordic countries. Not only does a sauna offer numerous health benefits, it’s also a social space where people can come together, connect and unwind from the stresses of the day. Hot Horse Sauna sessions run at various locations in the Peak District as well as being delivered and setup at a location to suit you.
Services & Prices
We provide the space, you come, relax, de-stress and unwind with friends. We love hearing conversation and laughter coming from inside the sauna and find that people who meet in the sauna keep in touch and often come back to reconnect.
Our sauna sessions give you the chance to boost your wellbeing, increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and speed up muscle recovery with contrast (hot/cold) therapy.
Hot Horse Sauna offers Social and Private Saunas in the Peak District. Keep your eye on our social media to keep up to date with the latest venues and schedules.
Price: £15 per hour.
Sometimes, time by yourself can be fantastic; solo-sauna to gather your thoughts and relax, or share the experience with a group of your besties!

Are you hosting an event at you own home; getting married at a hotel or wedding venue; organising a Stag or Hen do or staying in an holiday rental with friends and family? Being fully mobile, we’re able to bring Hot Horse Sauna to you!
We offer a fully manned service – giving you and your guests time to relax, and have fun in a truly Scandinavian style! Having a traditional wood-fired sauna and cold plunge experience at your event will be the icing on the cake!

What should I wear in the sauna?
Most people wear a swimwear – you can wear it under your clothes to speed up your changing.
Are there private changing facilities?
We have changing pods you can use before or after your sauna.
Why is sauna good for you?
Everyone is talking about the health benefits of sauna! As well as being a social experience that doesn’t involve the pub, there are many known physical and mental health benefits including:

What should I bring with me?
Bring a towel to sit on. Some people bring two towels and use one to dry off after a shower at the end of the session. It’s also a good idea to bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. Flip flops are useful to walk from the sauna to the plunge bath and changing pod.
Is there a way to cool off during my session?
Yes. Our sauna has a cold shower and we have a cold plunge for hot/cold contrast therapy.
