Hot Horse Sauna – A beautifully crafted, wood-fired, mobile horse box sauna
Hot Horse Sauna was founded by Jon in 2026. After 22 years in primary education, he now works for Irony Fireside Ltd who specialise in all things fire. As well as installing wood-burning stoves, Irony also build static and mobile saunas with the best materials… nothing is spared making them as beautiful as possible.
As a father of two outdoor loving teenagers and as former Forest school leader, Jon understands the connection between nature and wellbeing. Getting involved in the sauna projects with Irony Fireside allowed a whole new wellbeing learning opportunity. Knowing how important it is that people connect and socialise, Jon realised that he could combine the two with mobile social sauna sessions – and Hot Horse Sauna was born.
The Hot Horse Sauna Team wouldn’t be complete without Jon’s wife, Kate. A physiotherapist based in Bakewell, Kate knows a thing or two about wellbeing and loves to sauna. She is a constant source of knowledge and support.
